Jasodra Suba is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She obtained a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and a Doctoral degree in Education from National Louis University in Illinois. As a clinician, Dr. Suba has over 18 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all races, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and economic backgrounds. She has worked in a variety of settings and provides therapy to individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, personality disorders, compulsive disorders, gender dysphoria, codependency, etc. Dr. Suba collaborates with her patients to tailor therapy based on their unique goals and needs. She has experience with many therapeutic methods including Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Crisis Intervention (CIT) and more. As a part of Orlando Psychiatric Associates, Dr. Suba believes in providing quality mental health care through utilization of her experiences and educational background. She is a firm believer that throughout the counseling process a client-centered therapeutic approach tends to lead the way towards finding one’s authentic self.
