They are something you experience. You walk in the rain, and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain.” Jency has an immense passion towards treating and taking care of mental health patients, she feels if we are mentally healthy, we can achieve everything and anything. People who suffer with mental health issues need lots of support and encouragement, most of them not getting the care that they wanted, along with medications sometimes they want someone to listen to them empathetically and provide them with the right guidance. With this passion, Jency obtained her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Degree from University of South Alabama and passed her board certification, currently she is pursuing her DNP degree with an emphasis to motivate the depressed people to engage in physical activities via motivational interview techniques. She wants to help the mental health patients and refer them to the right community resources. Her future dream is to provide treatment and support to people suffering with substance addiction.
Jency loves to spend her free time with her husband and daughter. Her hobbies include reading and travelling
