Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Minell S. Ellerbe is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the State of Florida. She has been practicing as a Mental Health Counselor for over four years with clients of all ages, working in the mental health field for over 20 years. She has experience working with child and adolescents with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, amongst other stress and mood disorders. Minell has worked in community non-profit, correctional, school and private practice settings. Also, as a retired U.S. Army Veteran, she has extensive experience working within the military community.
Her therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, as well as some aspects of Play Therapy. Minell completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Troy University of Troy, AL. Her Bachelor of Science degree is in Criminal Justice and Master of Science degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology. She has developed a safe and comfortable environment where clients are able to build authentic relationships using innovative approaches to assist with solving complex problems.
